Visitor Information
Tours: All tours at Piatt Castles are self-guided journeys through historical artifacts, photographs, exhibits and explanatory text.
2008 Hours:
Spring March 14-May 23, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays 11-4
Summer Memorial Day Weekend (May 24) through Labor Day Weekend (September 1) Daily 11-5
Fall Sept 2 - Nov 2, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays 11-4
Holiday Mac-A-Cheek Only
Nov 28 - Dec 11, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays 11-4
Dec 12 - Jan 4, Daily 11-4 (closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day)
Group tours and programs can be scheduled on days we are open or closed March 14-October 31 at either Castle, at Mac-O-Chee in early November and at Mac-A-Cheek in December.
Important note: Closing times noted above represent the
latest a tour could start. Entrance gates are closed at this time.
Castles and grounds close up to one hour after above noted times.

Combination tickets are valid for one entry to each castle and expire October 31.
Admissions
are discounted for Seniors (65+) or AAA members (and up to five immediate family
members).
Note: Admissions can be purchased
with cash or check at either Castle;
MasterCard, Visa and American Express accepted at Castle Mac-A-Cheek.
Reduced rates and extended hours are available for groups of 20 or more. Please see our Group Tours page or contact our office for information.
Accessibility:
The first floors of both Castles are wheelchair accessible.
Museum Gift Shop:
The Museum Gift Shop, located at Mac-A-Cheek Castle,
offers souvenirs, toys and puzzles, activity books and scholarly works related
to the following topics:
The shop also carries special items including Victorian era inspired jewelry, picture frames, and mugs and note cards featuring images of the castles; and poetry by Sarah Piatt: That New World, compiled by Larry Michaels and the newly released hard cover volume, Palace-Burner, edited by Paula Bernat Bennett. Proceeds from books published by The Mac-A-Cheek Foundation for the Humanities help support research and educational programs. All items subjet to availability.

Mac-A-Cheek is one mile east of West Liberty, Ohio just off of St Rt 245.
Mac-O-Chee is one mile farther east on St Rt 245 at the intersection of St Rt 287.
